Mumbai-Ahmedabad Bullet Train: Project achieves second breakthrough as MT-6 completed in Palghar

The Mumbai–Ahmedabad Bullet Train Project has achieved another engineering milestone with a breakthrough in the MT-6 mountain tunnel in Palghar, Maharashtra. The 454-metre-long tunnel is designed to carry both up and down tracks and is the second mountain tunnel breakthrough in the district within a month. Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw said the rapid progress is boosting national confidence.
