The state government will release 87 life-term prisoners on April 14 for good conduct, marking Dr BR Ambedkar’s birth anniversary. Remission and special remission are granted on five annual occasions. Additionally, seven non-life-term prisoners will get early release. The initiative aims to support rehabilitation and ease prison overcrowding across Madhya Pradesh.
