Srinagar: PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti on Thursday emphasized that for the Indian government to achieve genuine peace in Jammu and Kashmir, it must prioritize building trust and rapport with the local populace. “If you want real peace and prosperity in Jammu and Kashmir, it is not possible until the Centre attempts to win the hearts of the people,” she stated during a press conference, underscoring the necessity of engagement and dialogue.
