An elephant named “Sridevi,” brought from Karnataka, carried the sacred Alam during the ritual.</p> <h3 data-section-id="1yy4jsk" data-start="508" data-end="554">Heavy security ensures peaceful procession</h3> <p data-start="556" data-end="809"><a href="https://x.com/hydcitypolice/status/2070568504903024920?s=20">Hyderabad</a> City Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar, IPS, monitored security arrangements at Charminar. He supervised crowd control and traffic management along the route. Senior officers from Law & Order and Traffic wings also took part in the monitoring.</p> <p data-start="811" data-end="932">Police personnel offered traditional “dattis” and floral garlands to the Alam as a mark of respect during the procession.</p> <p data-start="934" data-end="1167">Officials deployed more than 2,000 police personnel to maintain order. Security teams set up inner and outer rope parties.
