Aditi Roy has joined Akasa Air as head of corporate communications and CSR. She announced the move in a LinkedIn post, marking the end of a nine-year stint at Novartis India . She wrote: “After 9 years, I’m closing my chapter at Novartis. It’s hard to sum up what this journey has meant with this wonderful organisation. What stays with me are the people, the trust, and the opportunity to be part of work that truly mattered. I’ve been fortunate to learn from some exceptional leaders and work alongside teams who brought both intent and integrity to everything we did. A special thank you to Vaishali Iyer for her mentorship, trust and friendship over the years. Your belief in me has shaped this journey in more ways than I can articulate. To partners across media, agencies and patient communities, thank you for the collaboration, the ideas and the shared commitment to doing meaningful work. This is not easy to move on from. But it feels like the right time. From an organisation with a remarkable legacy to one that is beginning to build its own, I’m excited to be joining Akasa Air and looking forward to what lies ahead.” At Novartis India, Roy most recently served as associate director – external engagement and pharma communications and patient engagement. Over her tenure, she worked across communications, patient advocacy, and stakeholder engagement roles. Prior to Novartis, she held roles at SPAG Asia, Fleishman-Hillard, Text 100, K2 Communications and MullenLowe Lintas Group.
