Raijor Dal alliance talks on hold: Congress

The Assam Pradesh Congress Committee has put discussions on an electoral alliance with Raijor Dal on hold for the upcoming assembly elections. APCC president Gaurav Gogoi cited a failure to create a favorable environment for a united opposition, despite efforts. Raijor Dal chief Akhil Gogoi responded with a statement urging Congress not to perceive their party as an adversary.
